Due to continuous growth, our client is seeking a Cable Test Technician to join a successful certification laboratory in Milton Keynes.

The Cable Test Technician will work across electrical, mechanical and fire testing functions within this well-established business. You will be responsible for undertaking cable testing, checking and calibrating test equipment, contributing towards maintenance and operation of laboratory facilities, and ensuring that testing, quality and safety procedures are followed at all times.

The right person for the Cable Test Technician role will ideally hold at least a HNC in an electrical or mechanical subject and A Levels in maths, physics, or another scientific subject. Experience of having worked in a testing environment would be a distinct advantage. You must be computer literate and comfortable using both Word and Excel to record test results.
