Aviation Cabin Engineering Supervisor opportunity available at an established aircraft interiors maintenance company. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Supervisor will oversee and manage the repair and overhaul of various non-electrical aircraft interior components.

The responsibilities of the Aviation Cabin Engineering Supervisor include:

  • Liaising with customers, managing their requirements and informing them of any defects and how they will be resolved.

  • Overseeing all the materials and tools that are used, ensuring they're accounted for at all stages of the operation.

  • Monitoring the performance of staff, enforcing any HR policies and taking when disciplinary action when required.

  • Ensuring that all staff are aware of, and follow, the company's health and safety procedures.

  • Repairing aircraft seats and other components in accordance to Part 145 standards.

  • Cutting and fitting aircraft carpets

  • Completing all relevant compliance documents and any other paperwork required.

  • Deputising for the Operations Manager when needed.

You will have experience within a similar role, ideally five years, with managerial experience. You must be confident with reading and interpreting drawings and documents, alongside a solid working knowledge of Part 145 regulations and standards. A full UK driving license is also a necessity.

You will flourish when working under pressure, alongside having an impressive background within customer and employee management. Proven communication and forward-planning skills will also be needed.
