C# Senior Engineer - Greenfield, High-transactional

A leading cloud consultancy, HQ'd in Central London are looking to onboard a Senior .NET (C#, Restful Services) Software Engineer to work on an influx of hugely exciting greenfield projects fair warning, these aren't your typical consultancy!

As an organisation, all projects focus on three core competencies:
Purely greenfield
Cloud-hosted projects (Azure, AWS)
Purely latest technologies
As a result of the above features of every project, it leads to all projects having a high-transactional nature (think payment gateway solutions and single sign on). All projects focus heavily on the server side with C# and API based on microservices architecture.

But what about the travel element? We all know that the travelling associated with consultancies is often unappealing, so it's refreshing to know that 99% of customers are based in Central London, with minimal travel required. On top of this, flexi-time is on offer, with the option to work a day a week working from home.

What does a good Senior Engineer look like in this role? Well, for starters, they will have a history of engineering greenfield C# projects with a heavy focus on the server-side and a good understanding of complex APIs. It's not pivotal that the Senior Engineer has a high-transactional background, but knowledge of working on applications that can process data concurrently in real-time is certainly useful! Excitingly, cloud experience isn't necessary it's the opinion of this consultancy that good engineers can learn new technologies!
