C# .NET Lead Engineer

Our customer is a leader in Agile Cloud Transformation and, due to winning brand-new business, they are in need of a Lead Engineer to drive greenfield projects for one of their dynamic and highly skilled Teams.

The Role:
You will work on Greenfield projects, which will most likely be of a transactional nature and will involve creating highly scalable, Cloud-based solutions from scratch;

Your team will comprise of a Project Manager, Analysts and Technical Lead guiding delivery for .NET or Java, Front End, QA and DevOps Consultants

You'll be developing and deploying ASP.NET Web API projects to the Cloud (Azure) using a variety of CI/ CD tools;

You'll contribute to dsicssion on which design patterns to use, which HTTP Protocols are applicable to each development and acceptance criteria based on TDD and BDD;

As Lead Engineer you will also act to mentor others in the team and support them in technical direction such as guiding ton development or Agile and Lean concepts, code reviews, etc.

You'll work in forward thinking and collaborative Scrum Teams to contribute to technical discussions about the best way to approach each sprint and agree on which backlogs to deliver within each sprint.


As Technical Lead, you know how to engineer scalable .NET (C#, Web API) solutions (preferably from a FinTech background);
You can lead and inspire from the front-line in a hands-on capacity;
You encourage best engineering practices, TDD especially, is imperative;
It is also expected that as Lead Engineer, you have a sound knowledge of high-level architecture.

This is an opportunity to drive forward projects from the moment of their inception right through to delivery, and to not only work with latest technologies but be involved in the high-level architecture designs surrounding them.
