- Pro-actively monitor spend, commitment and savings; recommend, implement and monitor sources
- Use the tender process to select the most compliant and cost-effective sources for the business, ensuring quality and performance guarantees
- Produce, maintain and monitor supply agreements which mitigate business risk and secure the best price, quality and performance
- Manage a portfolio of categories, undertaking sourcing initiatives and cost saving programmes as appropriate
- Manage Supplier Performance
- Communicate with suppliers and internal customers in a timely and accurate manner
- Offer support to the department to ensure targets and objectives are met
Who should apply:
You should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in purchasing and have good systems experience including Excel. You must be driven, ambitious and be flexible as the business is fast paced and dynamic.
Hours of work - Monday to Friday 8am - 5:30pm
