SF Group are currently recruiting for a Buyer based in Birmingham. This is going to be on a 2 year fixed term contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Procuring construction materials and sub contract services
  • Full supplier management
  • Cost analysis
  • Value adding activities
  • Stakeholder management
  • Supplier set up
  • Negotiate contract and commercial terms
  • Placing final orders

Person Specification:

For this role the ideal person will need to have worked within the construction industry and as a Sub Contract Buyer. You must also be able to demonstrate excellent negotiation and communication skills. Have the ability to demonstrate attention to detail and knowledge of contractual obligations. IT literate and be proficient in using Microsoft office packages. Strong people skills and have an ability to liaise with all levels of personnel.
