Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are currently recruiting a highly skilled Buyer with experience in raw material to work for a global engineering organisation.
Based in Doncaster, this is an exciting role to join a major manufacturer who supply a diverse range of industries on an international scale.

The successful incumbent will be a highly analytical Buyer specialised in purchasing materials, negotiating costs and managing supplier performance.
You will demonstrate excellent MRP knowledge along with ability to plan, organise and execute a demanding workload.

This is a key role within the business, playing a pivotal part in ensuring materials and components are sourced and maintained efficiently whilst keeping costs to a minimum. The role will support the Commodity Managers with strategy planning and supplier development therefore strong commercial acumen is essential.

Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

-Minimum 3 years Procurement experience within the engineering / manufacturing sector
-Strong MRP and Excel skills
-Excellent supplier management skills
-Ability to demonstrate examples of successfully negotiating cost savings and lead times with suppliers
-Highly process driven with the ability to increase efficiencies
