I am recruiting for a Buyer for a global organisation based in Birmingham. This organisation strive to promote from within and offer training that is second to none. There are extensive opportunities for career progression both nationally and globally.
As Buyer, you will build close relationships with internal and external clients, manage supplier relationships, carry out sourcing activity, create and send out RFQs and be a specialist in the use of systems including SAP and Ariba.
To be considered for the Buyer role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Strong influencing skills
- Excellent negotiation ability
- Strong analytical skills
- The ability to build successful relationships at all levels
- Ideally you will have experience of SAP and Ariba
- An outgoing and confident personality along with the ambition to progress
In return the successful Buyer will receive a salary of circa £25,000 - £28,000 dependent upon experience, along with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme, flexible working and other competitive benefits.
