Exciting Procurement Buyer Role for International Bank in Central London

Your new company is a well-established worldwide bank with a presence in over 40 countries. They are always looking to grow and develop, and pride themselves on their expertise.

Your new role
We have an exciting new 6 month contract. In your new Procurement role as a buyer you will be involved in the end to end procurement process with a focus on customer service. Your new procurement role will include but not be limited to creating and growing the procurement strategy, negotiating contracts in particular terms and conditions, running tenders and ensuring financial targets are met. You will also be dealing with suppliers, maintaining and sourcing new relationships and getting the best price and quality for the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need to have previous procurement experience preferably in the IT spend areas. You should have experience dealing with contract terms and conditions. You will also need to have strong data analysis skills with regards to cost analysis. You should be convincing in negotiations, organised and able to work to tight deadlines. Ideally, you would be CIPS qualified.
