I am recruiting for a global leading business based in Warwickshire looking for a capable Buyer to join them on a 12 Month fixed term maternity cover paying c£30,000 per annum. Some experience working with CAPEX/Maintenance categories would be beneficial.
The Buyer will be responsible for working closely with the Category Specialist to ensure the realisation of category targets which form part of the Procurement strategy as defined by the Head of Procurement.
This will be a challenging role in which you will be familiar in working within a fast pace/multi-tasking environment in order to offer strong support to both the Category Specialist and internal Customers alike, whilst at the same time, interacting with the wider Procurement Team.
With continuous management of stakeholder expectations, your excellent time management, people management and organisational skills will be essential to this role in order to manage a variety of tasks all within a multi-tasking environment.
Your creativity and lateral thinking and strong commitment to teamwork will allow you to determine the business priorities.
Strong Supplier Management and Demand Management will form an integral part of this role in order to ensure continuity of supply to the various business operations will be a key element of this role.
Your ability to engage and foster excellent working relationships with both Internal Customers and Suppliers will be essential to delivering sustained improvements within service levels.
