We are Asset Services, part of Link Group. As part of Asset Services, we manage regulated and unregulated mortgages on behalf of lenders and investors. We act as Primary, Special and Master Servicer across a range of products among the Commercial, Residential and Buy to Let markets for a range of clients from new lenders to institutional investors from our base in Ipswich.

Job Description

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Buy to Let Loan Servicing department which provides both primary servicing and arrears/risk assessment activity across the whole portfolio of Irish domiciled loans. As Buy to Let Mortgage Officer for our Irish Loan Portfolio you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate performance of these services in compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies and contractual client obligations.

Qualifications

Essential:

Skills

  • Excellent communicator at all levels- both verbal and written
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office packages
  • Effective time management skills - to manage caseload to meet deadlines
  • Attention to Detail - Recording of information must be accurate, factual and professional
  • Minimum of Grade C in GCSE Mathematics and English, or equivalent

Professional qualifications

At least one of the following is required:

  • Qualified Financial Adviser (Institute of Banking School of Professional Finance, LIA and The Insurance Institute of Ireland)

or

  • Accredited Product Adviser (Loans) (Institute of Banking School of Professional Finance, LIA and The Insurance Institute of Ireland)

or

  • Certificate in Personal Financial Planning with the Personal Financial Planner designation as provided by the National College of Ireland

or

  • Accredited Product Professional (Loans) (National College of Ireland)

Personal attributes:

  • Negotiator and Influencer - to be able to encourage open dialogue with the customer to gain trust and understanding
  • Empathetic manner - be able to confidently deal with difficult conversations whilst showing empathy and dealing sensitively, but appropriately
  • Comfortable working within an FCA regulated environment working to the applicable rules and regulations
