Business Unit Manager - Required Competencies:

  • IT Distribution in a senior product manager role or business manager role.
  • Experience within the required product set - Software
  • Track record within a product manager role or business management within distribution.
  • History of working towards / exceeding sales targets and running a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Track record of Management experience with distribution

Business Unit Manager - Key Responsibilities:

  • Business unit manager looking after a team of product managers and solutions account managers
  • Business planning and analytics experience required
  • Looking at the go to market strategy of the team
  • Vendor management of all software vendors
  • Dealing with all contract negotiation with vendors
  • Ensure all sales revenue / profit targets are met as defined by the Company
  • Liaise closely with all other sales staff to ensure products are offered with any suitable added value products
  • Be aware, and advise staff of a regular basis, of accurate competitive activity within the customer base
  • Promote the full range of services and products to the customer
