We're looking for a qualified, motivated and experienced Business Systems Team leader to join our IT Directorate.
Our successful candidate will be responsible for the provision, support and delivery of the Organisation’s business applications. These include Financial & HR systems, public facing retail and ticketing systems, internal digital asset management systems and other miscellaneous business delivery related systems, databases and applications.

The Business Systems Team Leader is key to the successful management and efficient delivery of maintenance and support for the business critical systems. The post holder will manage a team whose primary focus is the support and development of core business and retail systems. They will work closely with the Business Analyst and Head of IT Business Systems in developing process improvements, planning routine upgrade paths and compliance work.
To be successful in this position you'll need to be educated to degree level in IT/Computer Science or have the equivalent in work-based experience.
You'll need to be an experienced software/applications developer, with in-depth knowledge of SQL (including DDL, DDM and implementation within a database application).
Additionally, you'll need to have great interpersonal skills and experience of leading a team including allocating workloads, monitoring performance and balancing priorities.
Knowledge and understanding of Unit 4 BWOn! is highly desirable.
Salary will be £36,270 - £43,215 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
