Our global corporate client, is looking to recruit a Business Systems Analyst to be part of a cross functional team supporting Europe wide Systems implementations. The role is split between support of IS solutions and management of third party software suppliers and projects to deliver business process/systems improvements.

This is a hands-on role where the analyst engages in, and is comfortable with, business or technical discussions for BI and DW systems. They should be equally comfortable engaging with customers of all levels of the business across Europe providing support in implementing new software projects.

Responsibilities
  • Solicit information on enterprise direction, goals and industry competitive environment to determine how own function can add value to the organization and to customers. Make decisions and recommendations clearly linked to the organization's strategy and financial goals, reflecting an awareness of external dynamics. Demonstrate awareness by providing clear explanations for actions taken relative to customer requirements, needs, and industry trends.

  • Enquire about the relationship of technology to the business as it pertains to assigned area of responsibility and related projects. Seek out relevant information from available sources including supervisors, peers, clients, intranet/internet, and documentation. .

  • Develop and implement solutions that meet operational improvement needs ensuring that decisions are supported by relevant stakeholders and sound performance data.

  • Provide a business - based rationale for determining the necessity of incremental improvements and communicates viewpoint using the customers' own terminology. Support the business in delivering IT solutions and services across the region.

  • Meet agreed SLA’s in addressing user incidents.

  • Provide business analysis and prepare work schedules to deliver business enhancements and implementations.

  • Hands on involvement implementing systems in accordance with business plan, time frames and budgets; within the established project management and measurement approaches

  • Working with 3rd party supplier as directed to manage services provided in line with the needs of the group

  • Perform problem solving/troubleshooting activities.

  • Work closely with other members of the department/ business in defining technical solutions

  • Assist business user groups with the development of their business processes/ IT solutions

  • Support and oversee IT application delivery across EMEA

  • Manage 3rd party providers

  • Attend workshops with business areas and users to define and fulfil business requirements to support the development program.

  • Helping Define future direction

  • Contribute to 1-3 year roadmap for department

  • Produce and deliver internal and customer project documentation.

  • Execute testing as required through the project delivery process

Candidate Profile
  • IT Degree or a Degree in Finance and Accounting

  • Customer/ Client focused.

  • IT Qualification or 6-10 years commercial experience in a similar Role.

  • Project Management qualifications/ awareness (Prince 2/Agile)

  • ITIL Certified/ awareness

  • Business/ Systems Analysis Qualifications (ISEB/IIAB)

  • Good business engagement and stakeholder management skills.

  • Well organised and able to prioritise when working under pressure
