Our client is a leading provider of CV verification and background screening services, using innovative technology and methodology. They carry out background checks on candidates to enable our clients to make informed and long-term rewarding recruitment decisions. The business has experienced a significant growth over the past few years and are now looking for a Business Support Manager to join our team.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
An outstanding opportunity to join this exciting and rapidly expanding company. Whilst still having the feel of a start-up, this business has been trading for 13 years and is now an established market leader, with their services used globally and with an impressive customer base.
They are looking for an experienced Business Support Manager who will be responsible for managing both internal and external contracts and projects whilst offering the highest standard of support to the wider business.
The role itself will focus on three key areas:
They proudly hold multipe ISO Accreditations and have been awarded the NSI Gold Award for Security Screening, the primary focus of this role will be to maintain and manage these, along with managing the relationships we hold with the professional membership bodies they are asociated with.
Their business is supported by a number of integral outsource partners who they have developed strong relationships with. Approximately 40% of this role will be to develop and maintain strategic relationships with existing and new suppliers. As the central point of contact for all supplier services, this role will be the first escalation point for contract queries, upholding service delivery requirements and contract negotiation.
This role will also manage the centralised internal business support function, with line management responsibility of the Office Manager, encompassing all general adminstration duties.
The ideal candidate will be highly effective in maintaining a varied and everchanging workload, with the ability to prioritise tasks whilst offering a consistently high standard of service to multiple internal and external stakeholders. They will have a robust, clear, communication style and be confident and decisive in their approach.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in a hybrid office and contract management role
- Strong contract management skills
- Strong knowledge of maintaining industry recognised accreditations and the process required to achieve these
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management ability
- Previous line management experience
- Impeccable general administration skills
