Business Support Manager

This 12 month maternity contract is focused on understanding and ensuring that all client processes are respected, implemented and that KPIs are met. It will also be responsible for train, mentor and support all staff that touch on the process in anyway.

Job Description:

  • Support the Client team in the preparation of RFP & Proposals as required
  • Attend client pitch / presentation as required
  • Attend client meetings, calls and reviews on a regular basis or as required
  • Communicate changes to Client structure as and when relevant
  • Work closely with the team with regards to new process implementations
  • Bi-weekly calls with the team, follow up if required in conjunction with Client Service Leads
  • Support with the completion of the monthly Merck Event Overview reports
  • Provide the team with a monthly update on reconciliations and deadlines
  • Prepare the Merck Event Overview reports & attend Quarterly review meetings
  • Assist with the creation of new budgets, SOWs / local agreements where required
  • Liaising with project accountant and accounts to ensure the financial process is respected
  • Liaise with the project teams to ensure that savings, commissions and approvals are tracked
  • Overview the whole reconciliation process for each event and ensure our KPIs are met
  • Manage and complete operational touch process within the EventLab
  • Share client knowledge with the touch team to enhance the client experience
  • Receive and share new requests including all admin tasks allocated
  • Budget Reconciliation & Finance Management

Person Specification:

  • Must have previous experience in a similar role
  • Ability to support projects from concept to completion
  • Apply best practices in user interface and interactive design
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and scheduling work assignments

Additional Information:

  • Based in Leatherhead
  • £30,000 - £32,000
  • 25 days holiday per year

  • Flexible Working (Minimum of 3 days attendance at the office, - business needs will always prevail therefore all successful candidates need to be prepared to attend office up to 5 days if required) - Please Note, depending upon the role / department / office location, there may be a need for a 4 or 5 day week attendance in the office
