An independent IFA is looking for a Business Support Administrator to assist in general day-to-day tasks and management of clients. The role will comprise a number of tasks including managing client files and fund updates as well as general filing, scanning and organisation.
Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
Maintaining client records and obtain data from providers
Gather valuation and performance information for client reviews
Preparation of client meeting packs
General scanning and filing
Managing 'first port-of call’ emails
Dealing with online applications and pipeline business
Liaise with clients
Applicants must have good communication skills and be comfortable both with written and telephone correspondence. They must hold basic skills in Microsoft Office applications ie. Word and Excel as well as willing to expand their knowledge base as they go, particularly in the areas of CRM system, fund research and products.
Experience in the financial services industry is essential, preferably within an IFA practise.
Salary and Benefits
The basic salary will be dependent on experience and open to ongoing review as responsibilities grow. The role offers initially 10-14 hours per week, the working days and hours are flexible and can be tailored within reason to be mutually suitable.
