A high-profile new role exists for a Business Strategy & Development Manager with a track record in business development or strategy, gained in a legal or professional business services capacity, and ideally with private equity sector exposure. With a remit to support the global Private Equity Industry Group leaders & SMT, you will assist in developing and implementing strategic growth plans and business development initiatives, building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning the business as a world leader in private equity legal services. A broad & varied role includes:
•Supporting strategic planning & implementation processes at global, regional & sub-sector levels, ensuring effective growth initiatives & business plans are progressing, coordinated and well managed
•Improving business generation from key priority clients, including relationship management; maximising opportunities through a cross-global-practice & cross-global- office P/E industry approach
•Delivering marketing & business opportunities with existing & new clients; proactively ensuring information flows between the P/E Industry Group & the wider business
•Working alongside the Head of P/E Group Strategy & Development on a range of global Industry Group performance & practice management initiatives
As a 2:1/1st class graduate and ideally CIM qualified, you will demonstrate 3-5 years relevant business development, strategic growth or communications experience gained within the legal or professional business services sector. A client-focused approach, a creative mindset and evidence of working with key stakeholders at Board or Partnership level are prerequisite. You need to demonstrate commerciality, be passionate about working in a global business community and show true enthusiasm for the sector.
