Public Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are partnered with a highly reputable firm of Accountants in the market town of Newbury, who due to continued growth are seeking a Business Services Assistant Manager or Manager to join their team.

The successful individual will be ACA or ACCA qualified and responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients from an array of sectors.

The role will involve managing a team of junior staff, reviewing their work and monitoring progress against deadlines. There will also be regular client contact and the opportunity to working closely with a number of Partners, so strong communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships is highly desirable.

Salary is dependent on experience and our client is offering an excellent remuneration and benefits package for the right individual. Part time will be considered.

Responsibilities:

Managing all aspects of the client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
Preparation and review of statutory accounts
Preparation and review of management accounts
Training junior staff and reviewing their work
Monitoring WIP
Client meetings
Assisting with other ad hoc assignments
Business development duties

Requirements:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified
A strong background in accountancy practice
Experience of managing a client portfolio and reviewing the work of junior staff.
Good communication skills
