Currently we are looking for a Business Sales Manager with direct experience in identifying, interpreting, writing, submitting and winning business proposals. A person who can contribute to our continued suc?ess.

Position Business Sales Manager with Bid Writing & Tender Experience

Location In-country, home-based. Occasional travel to UK HQ Office.

The key objective for this role is identifying and winning new customers.

Required Skills:

  • Business Sales Manager with direct experience in bid writing and tender proposal submission processes.

  • Experience in the Aviation sector is essential.

  • A proven track record of success operating within larger organisations such as Eurocontrol, FAA and the major aviation airlines and industry players.

  • 5+ years sales experience including provable track record of winning new business.

  • Ability to identify, progress and close sales opportunities with new customers

  • Experience in the Aviation sector is required

  • Fluency in English is required

  • An additional language will be a definite advantage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, interpreting, writing and winning business tender proposals (including RFI, RFQ, CFI, CFQ, Tender Processes)

  • To identify new customers and tender opportunities through research and networking, to build relationships with prospective clients with the ultimate aim of selling RocketRoute’s subscription based services.

  • To use consultative sales techniques to fully understand a prospective client's individual needs and to present the correct RocketRoute services that best suits the customer needs.

  • To identify additional upsell opportunities and the relevant timelines involved

  • Create and effectively present proposals to prospective clients.

  • Travel to industry trade shows, client events and prospect meetings which may represent up to 50% of working time.

  • To identify and report new product and/or service development opportunities gathered through interaction with prospective clients, customers and other industry sources.
