Business Reporting Analyst

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to work within an experienced team and provide business-changing support to all levels within the business, from Heads of Department to members of the Board
Reporting directly to the Head of Business Reporting, the role includes the production of key weekly & monthly reports, conducting ad-hoc sales/profitability analysis, and act as Business Partner to internal/external stakeholders.
Job Profile:

  • Business Partner to the sales team, supporting departments and 3rd party suppliers
  • Co-ordinate and plan reporting department business queries using "ticketing" system
  • Production of daily, weekly and monthly reports with supporting commentary
  • Maintaining accuracy by ensuring full report reconciliation
  • Using IT skills (particularly MS Excel) to help improve existing reports and processes
  • Provide profitability analysis for key events
  • Analyse opportunities to maximise sales revenue and improve margin
  • Support reporting improvements to business operations
  • Assist in the roll out Business Intelligence software across the business
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis as required

  • Experience of multi-site location analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills with use of higher functions
  • Ability to use Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
