Business Relationship Manager job in Caerphilly - Up to £45K + benefits - Highly established organisation
A job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Relationship Manager to join one of the most established organisations in South Wales on a permanent basis. This position is based within a rapidly expanding organisation that offer a great working environment and excellent scope for career progression.
The Business Relationship Manager will be responsible for liaising with a number of key stakeholders in order to understand both business operational and development needs. You will assist with the oversight and prioritisation of IT projects in order to ensure that they align with both the IT and business strategies.
This role will require you to provide strategic consulting guidance throughout a range of key IT initiatives, ensuring that the organisation is able to achieve its objectives through the effective use of technology. It will also involve business-IT strategy development, service management, solution discovery, risk management and relationship management.
You will act as a key point of contact for all IT business stakeholders to ensure that all IT services meet their business objectives and priorities.
Maintaining a high degree of visibility within the business, you will be required to attend business meetings and appropriate management forums, providing a central point of information for all IT related activities. You will assist with the prioritisation of projects, using cost / benefit analysis to proactively manage business demand. You will support the Head of Programme in the execution of internal project delivery methodologies, in addition to playing a proactive role in Service Level Agreement negotiations.
Skills / experience required:
- Proven experience of working in a Business Relationship role
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder management skills
- Educated to degree level and / or possessing a formal qualification in Business Analysis
- Experience of business process change
- Experience of working as part of an IT service provided by both third party providers and internal teams
- Experience of managing in an ITIL framework would be an advantage although it is not essential
