Business Relationship Manager - Financial Services

Job Title: Business Relationship Manager

Salary: £30,000

Location: Haywards Heath

Duration: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 99AM - 5.30pm (can be flexible)

Benefits: 20 days annual leave increasing by 1 day per year up to 25 days in total, plus bank holidays

We are proud to be working with a fantastic and well established company in the Financial Services sector, conveniently based within walking distance to Haywards Heath train station. They are currently seeking a Business Relationship Manager on a full time basis to build and develop working relationships, promoting the company's products and services.

The successful candidate will have experience in financial services, banking or commercial finance in a sales/business development or relationship management type role with a proven record of achievement.

The core duties include but are not limited to:

  • Building and developing relationships with new and existing introducers to promote products and maximise business volumes
  • Account management from initial dialogue through to active introducers of business
  • Providing accurate weekly and monthly reports on business activity and account development plans
  • Contribute to marketing strategy including sourcing collateral and producing campaigns from concept to delivery
  • Contribute to sales strategy including product development and identifying accounts to target
  • Providing support to the underwriters by collating information on new enquiries
  • Liaising with our introducers on new business enquiries where additional information is required
  • Working with our Customer Services Manager and Admin team to maintain momentum and maximize conversion of new business enquiries
  • Mailbox management for sales representatives when they are in the field
  • Maintaining the completeness and accuracy of the database

Key skills required:

  • Ability to build relationships remotely with a disciplined, methodical and consistent approach
  • Energy, enthusiasm and commercial awareness
  • Relationship management skills and experience dealing with intermediaries
