iRecruit Specialist have a requirement for a Senior Product Analyst to join a growing organisation in Wokingham. This role will be working very closely with the Product Owner and collaborating with other members to manifest the product vision and strategy, through user stories and specifications to bring them to life.

You will ensure that areas of improvement within your product areas meet changing business needs and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.

The Senior Product Analyst will assist with managing the product backlog and play an active role in agile events and be key to the progress of each project.

The Senior Product Analyst will assist with managing the product backlog and play an active role in agile events and be key to the progress of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take an active part in and assist the Product Owner to facilitate all agile events and collaborate with other members on a daily basis
  • Facilitate product research into market requirements to determine the need for key improvements and enhancements, reflecting user demand
  • Facilitate legislative research (where necessary) to determine the need for change to make sure products remain compliant
  • Work closely with Product Owner to identify and analyse how the product strategy and project goals can be applied to software
  • Assist Product Owner to monitor progress of development and bring attention any unforeseen changes to delivery or scope
  • Mentor Product Analyst(s) in analysing, evaluating and exploring solutions on product ideas and enhancements
  • Work collaboratively with Product Owner and other internal and external stakeholders to elicit requirements and develop solutions, technical and functional specifications and interface designs
  • Take on Product Owner responsibilities to produce well-defined user stories and monitor the product backlog
  • Work effectively with other members (and teams) through iterative sprints to ensure that development meets the requirements of technical and functional specifications
  • Be an expert with the software functions, calculations, and processes Preliminary testing of new features/product enhancements and the support of test case development through the testing cycle.
  • Update and maintain support materials and documentation as required for users and the business.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience working as a product or business analyst
  • Experience of using a variety of tools and elicitation techniques to gather and produce requirements
  • Experience working within a software or IT related industry
  • Extensive knowledge of software and the software development lifecycle
  • A good knowledge of working with agile/scrum methodologies
  • Experience in key decision making
  • Experience of estimating and managing product backlogs
  • Experience of facilitating agile events
  • Managing stakeholder relationships (internal and external)
