To work closely with a wide range of clients to deliver value in the following areas:
Management information and reporting – primary focus
Business process re-engineering - secondary
Organisation design – secondary
Project and change management – secondary
Our clients range in size from large multinationals to small owner-managed businesses across multiple sectors throughout the UK. We also work with public sector bodies and charities.
As a Consulting Manager you will be actively involved in all aspects of project delivery and will contribute to, and manage, project field work, analysis and development of final recommendations.
In addition to working with Consulting and other colleagues in the delivery of projects in the above areas, you will proactively seek and help convert opportunities to develop the consultancy service.
To design, develop and implement Management Information (MI) and reporting solutions for a wide variety of clients quickly and effectively (primary focus)
To analyse and redesign client organisation business critical processes (secondary focus)
To project manage and deliver agreed results on time and within budget.
To develop client relationships to generate business.
To carry out work to a high technical standard in a commercially beneficial manner.
To work with partners and staff to develop the business and service offerings.
To identify opportunities to leverage new and potentially disruptive technologies in the Business Information and intelligence arenas.
Undergraduate Degree (minimum 2:1 essential).
Qualified – (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or relevant Masters-level studies (e.g. MBA) (desirable).
Recognised process improvement qualification e.g. Lean, Six Sigma (desirable).
Outstanding Excel and communications skills (essential).
Previous experience designing and delivering MI projects, either as an external consultant or in industry (essential).
Demonstrated high level analytical and consulting skills.
Ability to apply the Mazars MI methodologies (that we will provide training on) whilst still contributing to the development of new initiatives and proposing innovative solutions to client problems.
Previous experience working with clients to understand issues and help with designing and delivering solutions projects.
Willingness to develop skills in the other core BPI areas detailed above (essential).
Personal projection and confidence.
Setting high standards of quality and demonstrating commitment to self development.
Develops and maintains realistic and achievable project plans.
Communicates team goals with clarity, sets clear objectives that are aligned to business plans and monitors and assesses performance, providing timely feedback and support as necessary.
Contributes to the development of new initiatives and proposes appropriate approaches to problems.
Maintains and applies an up-to-date knowledge of the firm’s risk management policies and operational procedures and ensures these are adhered to.
Ensures client expectations and issues are understood, developing collaborative relationships.
Ensures fees are collected in a timely manner, following up with clients as necessary.
Selects, analyses and presents information to enable effective decision making and effectively communication results.
Promotes the firm’s values and beliefs, demonstrating integrity and maintaining an ethical stance, using flexibility and tact to express views as necessary
