Membership organisation for Senior Management working in Public Sector are seeking a Business Partner Programme Coordinator. Your new role
As Business Partner Programme Manager you will manage the relationships between the organisation and their business partners. This is an opportunity to work with some high-profile organisations from across public, private and voluntary sectors. You'll play a part in the full lifecycle of our business relationships - identifying and converting new partnership opportunities, and then acting as account manager to existing partnerships. It's a role that demands the ability to get under the skin of organisations, and identify synergies and common ground. You'll need to be inquisitive, open to new ideas, and credible in engaging decision makers from a range of professional backgrounds.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you will need to have considerable experience of managing client relationships, which have included engaging at a senior level. Strong commercial awareness is vital, coupled with an informed awareness of the political dynamics that exist in commercial undertakings within the public sector. Customer focused, offering strong IT skills and committed to delivering on promises, you'll ensure that sound project and account management principles (including measuring outcomes) act as a solid foundation for successful business partnerships. Candidates with prior experience in membership organisation or professional bodies is highly desirable.
What you'll get in return
There is scope for this role to be home-based with 1-2 days a week working out of the organisation's small satellite office in London Westminster. Frequent travel throughout the UK (London and South East predominantly) will be likely to visit Business Partners, attend events and conference etc. It is a permanent position paying up to £40,000 depending on experience.
