Business Objects Reports Writer

Our London based, Local Authority client is looking for a Business Objects Reports Writer to join their Adult Services team.

Main Duties:

  • The role is to support financial assessment team and Social Care Performance Team with commitment report to understand spend against activity
  • Create, maintain and produce reports for monitoring performance, the completion of surveys and statutory returns.
  • Creating and automating reports, extracting data from social care database (FWi) using SQL and Business Objects
  • Ensure that working practices and processes are established to maximise the use of technology and ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.

Key Skills / Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in a Business Intelligence, report developer, business analysis or similar role in a commercial data-centric organisation.
  • Excellent Business Objects experience 4.2
  • Be able to write SQL, against relational databases like SQL Server, Teradata and Business Objects.
  • Show the ability to fluently communicate data using Tableau and/or Web Intelligence
  • Knowledge of Social Services, ideally within Adult's services
  • Knowledge of Social Care IT systems such as Framework-I or Mosaic
  • Universe Design of FWi is desirable
