Business Modelling Analyst
£35,000-£45,000 plus Bonus and Benefits (DoE)

Our client is a UK leader and an award winner in the fields of Delivery, Supply Chain, Logistics, Fast Moving Consumer Goods and Perishable Items and they have been providing a strong reliable service, delighting their Big Brand Name clients for many years.
Their HQ Operations consists of a dedicated Analytics/OR/Business Modelling Consultancy team and within this, they have just created a brand-new opening for an Analyst to come and join them. You can expect a diverse and stimulating range of projects to be delivered and problems to be solved. Working extensively with MS Excel (spreadsheet modelling etc.) and VBA (some previous knowledge would be ideal but not essential) and, when required, the use of dedicated Supply Chain Optimisation and Modelling software (training given).
There will be no limit to how far you wish to take your Modelling and Analytical career….
Ideally applicants will have:
- A strong academic background in a Numerical / Mathematical / Science discipline (i.e. BSc Maths, Stats, OR etc.,)
- Solid MS Excel ability;
- A passion for mathematics in the business world;
- Ideally 6 months to 2 or 3 years+ Commercial Analytical experience;
- The ability to model, analyse and report, in simplistic terms, from often complex, incomplete large data sets and databases;
- An enjoyment of quantitative problem solving and a keenness to be part of radical and innovative solution provision debates.
