Pertemps are delighted to be working with our public sector client to recruit for a Business Manager.

Role - Business Manager
Location - Edinburgh City Centre (hybrid working but must be able to attend the office)
Duration - Temporary for 3 months initially with possible extension
Hours - Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week
Pay rate - £21.44 per hour
Immediate start

Main responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinating and facilitating obligations and actions across various areas
  • Working closely with relevant stakeholders
  • Developing and co-ordinating responses to reviews and proposals
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities, legislation and policies
  • Leading and promoting an integrated, consolidated and consistent approach
  • Ensuring appropriate governance arrangements, processes and stakeholder engagement are in place
  • Actively lead projects where appropriate to cost and quality standards
  • Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on programme activities according to the framework
  • Recommending changes to enhance programmes
  • Supporting the Executive Director to lead arrangements as required
  • Developing a budget and operating plan
  • Overseeing key operational systems and budgets

You must have:
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • A proven track record in a similar role
