*A Local Authority in East London is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join their team on a three month contract.
Purpose of the job:
*To design, maintain and deliver workforce reports and workforce analysis to aid strategic understanding and decision making processes and support the progress of the HR Management Information Strategy.
*To undertake a wide range of research, monitoring and organisational tasks to support the workforce analytics service to meet its targets and objectives and support the progress of the HR Management Information Strategy.
Your duties will include:
*You will be researching, collecting and collating external benchmarking data to provide comparative information to enhance workforce reporting.
*You will be preparing data by organising information and checking for any inaccuracies and adjusting and weighting data where applicable.
*You will be able to merge data from different functions e.g. finance and HR and be able to analyse and interpret key themes emerging.
*You will be analysing and interpreting HR management information data through the use of analytical methods, to identify relationships and trends in to assist workforce planning and decision making.
*You will be presenting data and information in formats to meet customer requirements.
*You will be identifying client/ user report and system development requirements and translate these into technical specification for reporting and produce information.
*You will be actively supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of data and information provided through customers portals, liaising with users to discuss their needs, feedback and suggestions.
*You will be maintaining good working relationships with HRMS users, clients and employees at all levels and with other authorities.
*You will be dealing directly with ICT and external software providers as necessary to deal with issues arising and to enhance and improve the teams capability to obtain the greatest benefits from the software.
