We are looking to recruit an experienced Information Analyst to come and join our team. Talking Helps Newcastle is an alliance between Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear Mental Health Trust and Insight Health Care. This contract is with Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We provide a range of mental health services to people living in Newcastle upon Tyne and a significant part of the service is within an IAPT contract. We deliver our service through locality teams each lead by a locality Coordinator. The teams are multi-disciplinary and include counsellors, primary care practitioners, clinical psychologists, CBT Therapists, psychological wellbeing practitioners and assistant psychologists.
The information analyst will be the first point of contact for all service data needs and you will provide, monitor and analyse all data reports and submissions for both local and national data requirements. You will support the management team to ensure that the service meets its key performance indicates and to identify key data issues. You will also support clinicians to be able to understand and meet the need for high quality data.
Applicants must demonstrate essential requirements from the job description, key elements of this include;
- Strong analytical numerical and statistical skills.
• Ability to deal with staff of all grades.
• Experience in using Excel spreadsheets to a high level.
• Ability to develop complex queries, manipulate data, design, present and explain reports.
• Ability to work with clinicians to understand the clinical context behind the data.
