Business Efficiency Specialist

£35-£40,000 Per Annum, Company Car


BCA Marketplace PLC is looking to fill a position for a Business Efficiency Specialist (South) working in a fast paced and increasingly growing Automotive Remarketing Business. We are ideally looking for an individual with previous experience of Continuous Improvement (CI), who is able to influence people within all levels of the organisation and has the right personality to drive change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for process improvement and cost reduction in line with the Business Efficiency Team objectives
  • Support Business Efficiency Team to develop Business Cases to asses 'cost’vs'benefit’ before proceeding with a CI Project. Ensure input from all relevant Business Stakeholder(s) including Regional Finance and I.T. Teams (if applicable)
  • Take leading role in delivering CI Projects with cross functional Business Teams within the agreed implementation timeline
  • Work with UK Remarketing Operations Team to identify new opportunities for Continuous Improvement (CI) using following methodology:

i. Gather the facts to clarify current situation & pain points

ii. Conduct root cause analysis

iii. Develop countermeasures & KPIs

iv. Deliver countermeasures within agreed implementation timeline

v. Conduct post implementation meetings to review countermeasures & KPIs

Person Specification:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - with ability to present at Centre, Senior Management and Customer level
  • Articulate / numerate / PC literate with Microsoft packages especially Excel, Power Point & Visio to intermediate standards
  • Experience in End To End (E2E) process mapping
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation and planning skills
  • Problem solver and able to work under own initiative
  • Ability to operate under pressure / tight deadlines
  • Efficient time management
  • Team player with great flexibility and willingness to learn
  • Must be willing to travel c.50% of the time
