Our client, a leading UK travel management company with an enviable global presence is looking for a talented Business Development & Strategy Manager to join its hugely successful operation.

In this field-based position, you'll be responsible for managing and growing your defined territory utilising your own network and targeting new clients in order to build your pipeline and maximise profits. As an experienced sales professional, you'll use your exemplary relationship building skills to forge long lasting business partnerships and will use your industry knowledge to stay abreast of market changes, ensuring you remain 'one step ahead' of your competitors. Working closely with the telemarketing, marketing and senior managers, you'll design and implement campaign strategies and report regularly to the board on your sales activities.

To be considered for this Business Development & Strategy position, you'll be a determined self-starter with a demonstrable track record of exceeding targets within a result driven environment. You'll be a confident presenter, have prior bid writing experience within business/corporate travel and as a strong communicator, will be a superb negotiator and comfortable influencing others to close business opportunities. Additionally, you'll be a whizz with MS Office and Sales force and be an excellent problem solver who is focussed on delivering an impeccable, profitable service.
