Head Office: Southend on Sea, Essex

Travel: Frequent UK travel with times abroad

Hours: 8am-5pm - Flexibility required (many clients are abroad)

Salary: £25,000PA + Commission (OTE of £50k)

Previous experience within a similar role with a proven track record is essential for this role.

Fluent in French would be an advantage.

Business to Business Sales | Account Management | Business Development

Duties:

Identify leads:

  • Geographical areas and/or specific clients will be assigned to individuals
  • Research the potential client and then identify the correct person to target.
  • Making initial contact
  • Using Social Media and LinkedIn as tools for identifying new clients
  • Refer to existing databases

Identify client’s requirements and guide them toward the appropriate products:

  • Understanding the clients brief and what they require
  • Sourcing suitable products for clients (a Project Manager will be assigned for any bespoke or new products)
  • Presenting new samples and/or products and debriefing the R&D team to commence production
  • Completing handover forms
  • Obtain drawings (if required)
  • Working with specific briefs and estimating dates of projects
  • Presenting accurate costs to clients

Presentation of a variety of products when dealing with new/existing clients & agents:

  • Detailed presentations of new products (including optional extras)
  • Sharing new product information with clients

Complete layout drawings and design renders where appropriate:

  • Completing design renders as and when required
  • Ensuring all costs are visible within the sales handover file
  • Project pricing

Confirm Manufacture Timings:

  • Manufacture timings must be detailed with production and planning before lead times are confirmed with a client
  • Confirming manufacture timings for bespoke products, ensuring accuracy at al times
  • Keeping in contact with the client and updating them on the manufacturing timings
  • Attending sales meetings to keep on top of ongoing projects

Provide detailed quotations per project:

  • All pricing, estimated costs and quotes
  • Shipping dates
  • Compiling accurate quotations detailing any specific client requirements on branded quotation documents
  • Confirming lead fabric times/availability/suitability
  • Confirming costs of fabrics and then passing this onto Purchasing
  • Organising Fire testing should there be any specific regulations that need adhering to
  • Referring to the Installation Manager for timings of installations (per project)

Other Duties:

  • Ensuring all quotations are entered onto the in-house system with accurate ratings/information
  • Compile accurate monthly sales figures from the inhouse system
  • Completing a full Handover to Projects
  • Monitor the R&D, Production and Project meeting minutes for any issues relating to placed orders
  • Attending trade shows
  • Maintaining existing customers - Relationship Management
  • Marketing - Completed projects to be photographed and used in Marketing
  • Attend all internal meetings such as; Monthly sales updates, Handovers, Post Project Reviews etc.
