What You Will Do-Business Development Representative:
The Business Development Representative will be primarily responsible for identifying, qualifying and developing quality sales opportunities for various sales channels. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for the execution of outbound call campaigns by, identifying decision makers, assessing prospects needs, undertaking BANT qualification on leads, lead nurturing, scheduling sales appointments once BANT qualification is met and then handing over qualified leads to sales teams via Salesforce.com software. This is a quota bearing position with base salary and variable compensation based on performance.
Generate outbound calls to targeted contact lists and / or source own lists via databases, LinkedIn, other means with the goal of identifying and developing prospects by effectively communicating value proposition tailored to the prospect's needs.
Effectively identify from the decision maker, their company's goals and plans in order to match our companies products to their requirements
Create high quality leads ensuring all predetermined lead criteria are met.
Adopt efficient work practices and be able to prioritize tasks accordingly
Maintain records of contacts, accounts, leads and contact progress in CRM database (Saleforce.com)
Achieve or exceed call rate (100 touch points per day) and lead generation targets (15 sales accepted appointments per month).
What We Are Looking For in a Business Development Representative:
2+ years' experience in lead development and business development with experience of working with an IT solution set, Managed Service Provider or cloud provider
Sufficient technical skills to be able to discuss IT requirements with a technical decision maker and to understand if the companies service offering could be a good fit
Articulate and influential lead identification and qualifying skills with the ability to reach prospects using suggestive techniques
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to consistently make a high volume of outbound calls and to keep up a positive motivation level despite setbacks
Skilled at open-ended questions
Self-motivated, results driven, positive team player
Ability to manage multiple projects, with excellent time management, organization and planning skills
Experience utilizing CRM software packages, information resource database services; Salesforce.com experience preferred
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required
Conformance with Information Security Policy
