Business Development & Prospecting Executive

Our client has a vacancy for a Business Development & Prospecting Executive. The purpose of this role is to manage, grow and retain a designated customer base through effective account management and excellent customer service. You will also be required to call new business prospects and book in telephone appointments for the Business Development Manager to contact.

This is a great opportunity to work in a fast paced and rapidly growing business unit alongside a dedicated team who have a passion for the overseas property market and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Please note we are looking for someone who is fluent in French.

The responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Account Manager Team Leader, you will be the voice and sometimes the face of the business.

You will Proactively contact existing customers to establish and build relationships.

You are expected to overachieve revenue targets set by the Account Manager Team Leader.

Develop a healthy pipeline by prospecting new French clients and booking appointments for the BDM to contact.

Be able to quickly identify and influence key decision makers.

Seek to understand client’s business needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.

Present products and services in professional manner.

Be comfortable dealing with objections and presenting alternative ways forward.

Accurately record all client and prospect activity.

You will occasionally work flexible hours (for property shows, evening call outs or trips away) to maximise your chances of meeting objectives.

You are required to build relationships with other departments where it benefits our members.

The requirements

You are fluent in French and able to hold quality business conversations in the language.

You have proven history of regularly exceeding sales targets.

You have excellent organisational skills with the ability to deliver personal work objectives whilst taking a pro-active approach to work.

You have the ability to manage competing demands arising from internal and external relationships.

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You are already competent in using a Microsoft Office products particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint and learning company systems will not be a problem for you (training is provided for company systems).

You take responsibility and solve problems.

You have entrepreneurial flair and ability to challenge current ways of working.

You are a team player and committed to overall company results.

You are driven to exceed customer’s expectations and strongly believe 'good enough is never good enough.’
