Job Purpose

To support the next phase of our partnerships growth strategy, we are currently recruiting an additional Business Development Manager to join our growing Partnerships Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, pursuing and securing new partners across a variety of designated industry sectors to ensure we capitalise on the opportunities available to us in the market.

From initial identification and engagement with our prospective partners through to skilled negotiation of commercial and contract terms, we are looking for an individual who will ensure that any new partnerships deliver value to all parties.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing a business development strategy across a variety of designated sectors
  • Working closely with internal teams to develop and execute successful bids
  • Securing new long-term, multi-product partnerships which will deliver significant top and bottom line growth
  • Managing stakeholders effectively, both internally and externally
  • Regularly reporting and communicating performance against our Business Development objectives
  • Keeping up with industry trends, monitoring our competition and developing deep sector insight and expertise

Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years’ B2B sales experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience of winning new accounts, preferably within the financial services sector
  • Extensive knowledge on how to structure deals
  • Ambitious, keen to progress in career and to be rewarded for success
  • Thrives in a high challenge, high support environment
  • Takes enormous pride in their role and committed to putting a smile on the faces of British businesses
