Business Development Manager – Credit Insurance (Midlands / North)

Hybrid Role | Flexible | Remote - Up to £75,000 (doe) + Commission uncapped

Are you a dynamic sales professional with a passion for driving business growth? We are partnering with a leading specialist insurance group to find a Business Development Manager who will spearhead the growth of their Credit Insurance team in the South East region. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of your territory, work in a flexible hybrid environment, and earn an attractive salary package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Focus: Drive new business opportunities by generating high-value deals and building a robust sales pipeline.
  • Market Expertise: Utilise your knowledge and network within trade credit insurance (or related industries) to identify and secure opportunities.
  • Networking & Negotiation: Attend key networking events and confidently negotiate with underwriters to close deals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and provide exceptional service.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a high-performing sales professional with experience in trade credit insurance or a related field such as credit agencies, commercial finance, invoice discounting or factoring. If you have a solid understanding of credit insurance and excel in a consultative sales environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

You should possess:

  • Proven success in B2B sales and new business development.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A hunter mentality, with the confidence to work independently and hit ambitious targets.
  • Exceptional commercial awareness and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
