We are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a knack for strategic planning and execution, aiming to achieve annual new revenue targets through innovative business development strategies.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan and execute strategies to meet annual new revenue targets by working cross-functionally and identifying new business opportunities to increase the member base.
• Compile and present proposals to practices, clearly identifying their needs and providing appropriate solutions through Better Buying and Preferred Product Lists.
• Manage and follow up on all interested leads diligently.
• Maintain the CRM and other reporting platforms to ensure all activities are recorded accurately, including key information related to contact with practices.
• Attend and participate in various sales meetings and congresses throughout the year.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to generate leads and opportunities, leading to commissions and marketing campaigns that drive revenue for the group.
• Develop strategies to reduce member attrition rates by promoting member benefits, developing comprehensive contact strategies, and defending against competitors' approaches using provided tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in business development or increasing sales within an existing customer base.
• Strong account management skills, with evidence of building effective contact strategies.
• Veterinary sales or Animal Health experience is advantageous.
• A self-starter with a proven track record of achieving KPIs.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• High level of organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Computer literacy, fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
