Business Development Manager (BDM) - SOUTH WEST LONDON

(Field Sales New Business Acquisition - Independent Business)

The role - as a BDM, you will:

  • Research, build & prospect potential new independent business opportunities to maintain a consistently healthy and credible pipeline. (It is essential that you have proven experience in gaining new business)
  • Build strong and viable commercial customer relationships to understand the way our customers want to partner with us
  • Onboard new customers effectively & successfully with a seamless transition to the Area Sales Management team who will develop a sustainable business working relationship with our customers
  • Master the competition's proposals and activity ensuring you are always offering our customers the best solutions locally
  • Deliver profitable volume growth

Required competencies

  • Commercial acumen & partner your customer – provide the best business solution tailored to support the customer, enhancing their business. With the capability to interpret, understand and act upon financial data through numeric, commercial and verbal reasoning
  • Driving for results – takes accountability for successes, failures and commitments. Focusing on effective execution with a strong desire and ability to win
  • Collaboration – learn and seek continuous improvement by leveraging & learning from a diverse range of skills & experience
