Business Development Manager
Salary: £30k-40k DOE + Competitive Bonus

Meraki Talent is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic individual to join our rapidly expanding software client who offer cloud based software solutions.
You can expect a competitive salary and commission structure. The ideal candidate will have experience in business to business sales in addition to a passion for creating new sales opportunities.
Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
- Generate and manage leads for opportunity pipeline in order to contribute directly to growth targets
- Lead on key sales opportunities, close deals and collaborate with the wider teams to win and roll out large scale, multifaceted deals
- Take ownership on large scale sales projects such as RFI and tender submissions
- Attend client meetings and represent the company at selected industry and networking events
- Collaborate with client project teams to gather technical and commercial scope
- Present client pitches and presentations for customers
- Provide timely feedback to development and account management teams
- Work as an effective individual contributor and collaborate closely with account management teams through customer implementations
- Close deals and directly contribute to the rapid growth of the company
Background of the Business Development Manager:
- Strong consultative sales background with proven success in a similar role
- Understand the dynamics of working in a high growth start-up, bring knowledge of SaaS technology or have experience working within a SaaS environment
- Commercial awareness and ambition to grow within sales
- Presentation skills and ability to communicate across stakeholder groups and different teams will be excellent
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Relationship-building and networking is something you are excited by
- Tenacity and a driven nature to drive progress and optimise impact is key
