Global premium brand is looking to attract a commercially-minded, customer focused and influential Business Development Manager for their Technologies Division based in Auckland, to engage with potential customers and work closely with Marketing, Sales, Chief Engineers and the Executive Team. The main purpose of this newly created role is to establish yourself as the key interface between the client's executive team and the market. In this high-visibility, business-critical role, you will enjoy engaging with potential customers by providing them with insights into their business needs. Your aim will be to bring these commercial insights to life, tailoring and delivering messages to customers using a variety of sales tools. An excellent communicator, you will be adept at influencing and directing customer interactions, teaching them new ways to see their own business and industry.
Skills and experience
8+ years in Sales or Marketing, preferably in a B2B and customer-facing roles
Entrepreneurial and innovative spirit
Critical thinker who is comfortable working with numbers and data but also intuitive
Strong understanding of business, corporate finance, management and accounting fundamentals
Bachelor's degree in Economics/Marketing/Finance/other relevant Business discipline
