Business Development Manager

We are currently recruiting for 4 experienced Business Development Managers for four well-established companies in the area, these positions are newly created out of company growth and expansion plans so this is a really exciting time to join these leading companies.

Position 1

Job Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Dependant on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Thursday with a half day on Friday

We are working with one of the largest and leading European OEM manufacturers based in Bournemouth, helping them with their recruitment of an experienced Business Development Manager who can take the lead in developing new business as well as maintaining strong relationships with the company’s existing customer base.

You will be developing new business opportunities within the market where they are already known and hold a respected reputation. The company is receiving enquiries consistently for their products and with that has a flow of quotations and enquiries that the business would like followed up to bring them to sale.

This really is a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Professional to work within this company and deliver on what they have been building for over 50 years and that is an incredible products built to the highest standard and backed with a brilliant service.

Position 2

Job Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Dependant on experience

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to work with a well-established Business Supplies Company based in Bournemouth; this is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a leading; friendly and dynamic company.

The key focus of this role will be to enhance the awareness of the company’s PPE range to an existing base of over 2000 customers as well as developing and maintaining new relationships.

This is a really exciting opportunity for a target driven and self-motivated individual who wants to enhance their career and take charge in developing an exciting area of the business.

Position 3

Job Location: On the outskirts ofBournemouth

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Dependant on experience

We are working alongside a well-established supplier of branded packaging who has a substantial product range which they have developed over the last 15 years.

This role will be to develop new business on a local and national level as well as undertaking account management. You will be working with a product range that is of high quality as well as being competitively priced.

Position 4

Job Location: Near Bournemouth

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Dependant on experience

Established just under 30 years ago, one of the south’s largest independent wholesalers of business supplies have over 10,000 product lines and already supply into a range of businesses from sole traders to global companies.

They are continuing to develop their product lines and in doing so are looking to increase & develop their customer base. This role will see you proactively researching potential customers and then actively seeking to bring the customer on board to build a successful relationship.

For these positions, some of your duties will include:

  • Maintaining and developing new and existing customer relationships
  • Recognising any growth potential within existing accounts as well as proactively seeking new opportunities
  • Proactively ensuring targets are met by utilising the existing customer database and gaining a full understanding of customer expectations
  • Chasing quotations and amending them as necessary
  • Producing accurate monthly sales reports / forecasts and attending monthly sales meetings
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor analysis
  • Visiting customers to follow up on quotes or to undertake account management

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience within B2B sales or a business development position is essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills as well as the ability to fully understand customer expectations.
  • The ability to see potential with every enquiry and able to follow that up with an order
  • Target driven with the ability to identify new opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent all round use of Microsoft products, Outlook, word and excel
  • Full UK driving licence
