Business Development Manager
Location: Field & Office based role working from our Manchester Office
Salary: up to £60,000 OTE
Benefits: Car allowance, contributory pension scheme, annual health payment benefit and Share Options
Our business is growing, so is our opportunity. I’m looking for an ambitious, results-focused Business Development Manager who can take an outstanding proposition pitch to top-end customers and really make an impact.
We’re the leaders in our field - not just in the UK but abroad. That comes from looking to properly understand and align with our target customer’s needs - and then requiring very high standards across everything we do.
You’ll have a territory - and be expected to know every key prospect in that territory; you’ll also have sector responsibilities - to know those moving up and those sliding down in particular industries. You’ll work that knowledge - and the peer references - to open doors; telesales, appointment making (we have telesales support, but I expect BDM’s to own the whole process), presenting (planned, appropriate, structured) and clinching deals.
You will be involved in key account deals - owning most, supported by Directors as needed - promotional activity - conferences, exhibitions, supplier events, networking (not many but key).
And you’ll be part of the team setting the standard in our industry - for professional sales just as much as fixing cookers and fridges. Great earning potential, national and international development possibilities.
If you’re keen to show exactly what you can do, selling an A1 service alongside a buzzing team, drop me your CV with a brief, chatty covering letter.
