We are currently representing an exciting business based in Northampton, who are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join their growing business. As BDM, you would be part of a small team working on one key business sector, assisting the current BDM with client liaison, finding and following up leads and account management.
You would ideally have a demonstrable background of successfully developing new business or have a desire to prove yourself in a competitive, entrepreneurial environment as well as displaying a tenacious, driven personality.

Job Scope: To approach key potential clients across the UK in numerous sectors, to develop new business then build working relationships to leverage further opportunities. The role will comprise both cold, new business calls and on-going account management, and will necessitate very occasional travel. You would be working very closely with an established BDM and you would operate very much as a team, at least initially.
The client has a recognisable brand name within their sector and they are looking for people who can demonstrate the tenacity and professionalism to win accounts and help to keep them moving forward. As the business progresses, you would be instrumental in its growth, potentially taking on further responsibility.
