Business Development Executive job covering the UK selling within the catering and retail industries
Your New Company
My client is a UK based technology company servicing the foodservice, food production and food retailing sectors. They are at the forefront of IOT integration, bringing together temperature and related plant performance data from refrigeration, catering equipment and other food production plant. Alongside this they provide applications to manage routine and periodic jobs, checks and inspections. Together these solutions ensure food safety, health and safety, brand compliance and timely equipment maintenance. Exceptional growth opportunities are available from replacing the paper-form based systems currently used in organisations such as hotel and restaurant chains, hospitals, and supermarkets.
This is a senior executive appointment within the company with opportunities for future personal development. The appointee will become a member of the senior management team and will enjoy full involvement in developing and implementing our operating and strategic business plans.
Your New Role
The company is shortly to launch an exciting range of new and updated products for which the role will target corporate, institutional and national accounts. It will carry responsibility for marketing activities to identify contacts and present to suitable prospects, to manage field trials where necessary and to coordinate all activities necessary to personally close new business. This will include establishing and working with appropriate marketing partners such as contract caterers, food safety advisors, equipment manufacturers and dealers.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a proven track record in a similar results driven role; excellent verbal, written, and digital communication skills; an understanding of HSQE management and compliance; experience in the use of digital marketing and PR; an ability to recognise prospect needs and tailor transformational solutions; a strong business acumen; and a personal style which will win respect and cooperation from prospect stakeholders at all levels.
