Our client based on the outskirts of Poole are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow the business to companies within the Industrial, Construction and Heavy Plant machinery markets both in the UK and throughout Europe.
Operating internationally in the business to business environment you will be involved with further developing relationships with a portfolio of existing prestigious customers as well as finding opportunities with new businesses in the same market place.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate their experience of sales and business development with commercial knowledge of dealing with customer decision makers across a range of industry sectors. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of selling mechanical or electronics equipment to industrial customers.
This is a key role for the business to help drive their continued annual growth plan and it's a great opportunity for someone to really put their stamp on the role and be integral to the future of this well-established business.
This is a full-time position and can be either office based or remote working for the right candidate. The role will require travel around the UK and internationally for meetings and trade shows, so applicants must be prepared for this.
In return you can expect a salary of between £40k to £45k per annum plus an uncapped commission scheme plus a variety of other benefits including flexitime.
