Business Development Manager For Leading Travel Management Company

London - City Location

£££Excellent + Commission

Our client is currently recruiting for an outstanding sales consultant who is motivated, driven and sales hungry!

Previous sales experience for a TMC would be an advantage but for the right attitude and drive they will consider other sectors/industries.

They are looking for someone who is self motivated, can generate their own leads and actively go out there and win new business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and build new business

  • Responsible for own lead generation

  • Attend meetings/presentations

  • Prepare and present information including RFI’s and Tender Proposals

  • Representing company at events and tradeshows

Skills required for the role:

  • A demonstrable ability to present, negotiate and close sales at the highest level

  • A proven and successful business travel sales background

  • The ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships

  • Know how many calls you need to make in order to get a meeting to then convert into a sale

  • Great industry knowledge & networking skills

  • Strong IT skills - word, excel, PowerPoint

  • Confident, self motivated and driven
