An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Business Development Manager to join the Sales team within a globally renowned manufacturing company based in Tewkesbury.
We are looking to hear from sales professionals with a suitable background in engineering and an ability to sell bespoke and complex technical solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the sale of products and services across North West Europe with a key emphasis on protecting existing accounts whilst maximizing new sales opportunities.
To be successful in this role you should be able to leverage proven specific capabilities in Business and International strategy, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational ability, facilitation skills and presentation skills.
Extensive travel will be required across the sales territory and therefore willingness to travel is essential.
*Practical experience within an engineering environment
*Knowledge and Technical sales experience of electro-hydraulic and/or electro-mechanical systems (ideally an understanding of motion control applications)
*Possess excellent selling, relationship building, negotiation, contract development, contract management and business growth skills
*HNC/Degree in Engineering desirable
*Willingness to travel internationally when required
