We are representing a major insurer with a universally recognised brand. Based from city-centre offices, their Manchester operation focuses on national brokers, city independents and larger provincials.
Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth across the North West region. You will develop relationships with key brokers, taking responsibility for new business and retention of existing accounts along with managing rollover deals and delegated authority schemes.
To apply for this role it is essential that you are have commercial insurance experience though candidates with a background in either broking or underwriting are welcome to apply. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate exposure to working with strategic broker partners and be well honed in relationship management. Working with some of the branch’s largest accounts you will be confident in presenting to clients, working closely with the exec board. Essentially you must possess a trading mentality, with proven sales and negotiation ability.
